What is team coaching?

  • Coaching – whether individual, team, workplace or executive can be simply defined as: “Facilitating positive change by improving thinking.???
  • Team coaching works at two levels – the level of the individuals in a group, and the level of the collective. In this initiative we focus moving from individual to collective focus .
  • As team coaches, we help the collective generate insights about solutions and work towards them by taking action and following up to support the development of new habits over time.

In a team, there will be behavioural differences because of:

  • Variety of individuals and personalities
  • Multiple skill sets and levels of experience
  • Engagement and motivation levels will vary

We need to hence, tap into and effectively align, three aspects of the team ie Collective intelligence, Collective emotion and Collective performance
